Our washer and dryer are broken… which is kind of a big deal with such a big family.
We finally found someone to come fix it today! I was so excited!
I should have been concerned when he told me he was here to fix my refrigerator…
Or when he griped and griped, rudely telling me I hadn’t cleaned out my lint in 6 years. (I clean it every time! AND it’s only 3 years old!)
Or When I said that I do clean it out, he quickly said, “That’s not what your husband said!”
I asked, “What? I just don’t think he would say that!”
He responded, “Well, that’s what he said. He said he always has to do it because you never clean it out!”
“Are you sure?” I responded, “because I always clean it out. Every time.”
“Well, he didn’t say that, but other husbands do about their wives. Those are very awkward places to work. It’s not a good environment.” Ummm. . .ok.
Or when he asked how to turn the dryer on and I said, “turn it once to the left.” He turned it twice to the right.
Or when I said, “here, I’ll do it for you!”He responded that maybe I was calling him short. But his girlfriend doesn’t think he’s short because she is only 5’2” and he loves her so much… so much…. so much. (Ummm… not what I was saying or insinuating. And congratulations on your girlfriend!)
I could go on… but you get the idea.
I went downstairs to get away from him. After a while I realized I hadn’t heard him for a long time.
I snuck up the stairs to check it out. Halfway up I heard the snoring!!! He was sound asleep on the floor of my laundry room, curled up around the washing machine!!
I tried to wake him by dropping pans, slamming doors, talking loud, and stomping up the stairs. But to no avail! He was out!!
I had to have a neighbor come wake him and ask him to leave because I was a little nervous! He finally woke up, figured out where he was, got his stuff, and left.
What?! What?! 2020 is so weird!
So… I still need someone to come fix my washer and dryer!!!! 😂
(That’s him in the red!)
